Picking up right off of the end of Where Now, Dismantled is a fairly melodic take on Ascent of Autumn's style, including brighter riffs, a more melodic chorus and some good old fashioned chunk on the breakdown. Lyrically, this song depicts someone making the decision to turn their life around - to embark on a journey with the goal of dismantling and rebuilding themselves. While it is mostly optimistic, there yet remains a lingering shadow: the truth that this journey will take us to a much darker place before we rise again.
